The Moon Letter is a monthly almanac — part moon lore, part seasonal notes, part recipes and small comforts. A reason to slow down once a month and notice the turning of the year.
August is the month the year begins to gather itself in. This issue opens beneath two eclipses, carries us to the Sturgeon Moon, and stops along the way for yarrow, a peachberry buckle, a cooling tisane, the Perseids, and the old story of the Lions Gate.
This is not a month for holding on. It's a month for gathering what nourished you — and letting go, gently, of what didn't.
