From a young age, my world outside of school revolved around, books, swing sets, science kits, magic, mischief, mud pies, and the great outdoors. I was inquisitive and stubborn. A sensitive, curious spirit. A combination of sweet and sass with a limitless imagination.
Growing up a latchkey kid, we had to find ways to entertain ourselves for hours on end. An abundance of boredom and free time sparked a lifelong passion for collecting and creating things. I made the best mud pies and herbal teas for me and the Fae folk. I built tree forts, raided the neighbors berry bushes every summer, rode my bike and skateboard as if I was invisible. If it was shiny or I could catch it, it was "my treasure"—though the latter didn't always end well for me. 🤣 Those were some of the best and worst years of my life, so the nostalgia runs deep.
This has evolved into a love for collecting books, art prints, handmade dolls, crystals and other fun quirky finds. My favorite finds are always from small businesses and artists who craft one-of-a-kind treasures.
I adore being surrounded by magical creations made with heart and soul. My collection isn't just about acquiring objects; it's about soaking up the creative energy and passion behind each piece. Every item I choose resonates with me, whether it's because it tickles a childish fancy, its unique, charming, quirky, or simply because I admire the amount of time, effort and skill put into its creation. Sometimes there is a story or adventure behind it.
