These are not instructions.
They are not answers.
They are simply observations gathered along a road I am still walking.
I have not reached the end of it.
I still lose my way.
I still mistake fear for wisdom and exhaustion for failure.
Some days I recognize the trail.
Some days I don't.
But every now and then, the river teaches me something.
Or a forest.
Or the moon.
Or a wolf standing quietly beside another.
When that happens, I write it down.
Not because I believe I've found the truth.
Because I don't want to forget what the world was kind enough to show me.
If these pages help you recognize something you've been carrying too...
Then perhaps we are both learning our way.
About Field Notes from the Wreckage
A natural history of surviving.
These are not instructions or answers. They are observations gathered along a road I am still walking—notes on the natural symbols that keep appearing throughout the songs, stories, and world of Grey Street and Seraphina Grey.
